Who Is Shaheen?
Shaheen Siddiqui, MSPT, received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College and State University in 2003. She has since worked in a variety of outpatient orthopedic settings, from Canada to Arizona. Her passion for physical therapy developed during her undergraduate years, when a very close family member was involved in a severe accident, resulting in a traumatic brain injury. Because she was able to witness his rehabilitation from the very beginning stages until he was discharged, she saw the profound impact physical therapy made in her cousin’s life. She decided this is the profession she wanted to pursue, where she could make a difference in people’s lives.
Shaheen has focused her career in outpatient settings for the past 13 years. After working in clinics where she was treating two to three patients at one time, she decided to open her own practice, where she would be able to provide quality care to one patient at a time. She has worked with a variety of patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric; and has treated a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, work related injuries, and vestibular conditions.
A proponent of highly personalized one on one treatment plans, Shaheen’s philosophy of care centers around skilled manual therapy and consistent exercise, helping patients feel better and return to what they love to do.
When she is not treating patients, Shaheen enjoys staying active, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and four kids!
